To be considered as a finalist, ski resorts must submit up to 300 words (600 characters for submissions in Japanese, Chinese or Korean) outlining why it is believed the resort should win the specific category, with a focus on achievements during the 12 month period from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025.
Optional: a YouTube video link is also able to be submitted with the nomination, with a maximum length of 5 minutes.
Finalists will be announced on 4 April 2025. Public voting will then commence. Winners will be determined by the public vote (50%) and the results of a judging panel (50%).

No, entry into the Ski Asia Awards is free of charge. Winners will have optional paid promotion opportunities through Ski Asia channels.
Yes. However, a nomination form will need to be completed for each category.
Finalists will be shortlisted by a Ski Asia judging panel following a review of all 300-word written nominations. After the announcement of 2025 Ski Asia Awards finalists, there will be a public voting period.
Ski Resort category winners will be determined by a public vote (50%) and a judging panel (50%). Written submissions for each category will be taken into consideration and voting will be based on a 3-2-1 points system (3 points for first, 2 points for second and 1 point for third).
Accommodation and Services categories will be determined solely by a public vote (100%).
In the ski resort categories, judges will be looking for signs of innovation and improvement within the judging period (1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023), whilst also considering customer service, lifts and infrastructure, resort services, value, environment and sustainability, and overall product.
